You know, JoOngle has had his fair share of Electronics Component Scores over the years in here, so much so, that it's become known as a "JoOngle Sized Score" when you score something of your own, now...this sunday, after having planted 32 thujas or so, calming down with a cool

i'm going with the no marriage option ...
for these reasons : based upon observation of the OP from these forums my observation of the female persuasion (factoring in my limited direct observations/experiences/involvement over approximately 50 years) -------------------- "Know how to solve every problem that has been solved"

Well, I've already got #3 & #10. I wouldn't want #2. Still working on #7.

I occasionally dream of finding myself in a warehouse full of abandoned components free for the taking. I kid you not.

I went with the no marriage option as well. However...

As #3 goes, I'm never going to stop working. My life is worth more than money, and having a lot of it wouldn't change that
-------------------- Answering questions is a tricky subject to practice. Not due to the difficulty of formulating or locating answers, but due to the human inability of asking the right questions; a skill that, were one to possess, would put them in the "answering" category.

"honest day of hard work" means typical labor you wouldn't want to do, but would be forced to do if you want money and can't get it the way you'd want. I'm not sure who said this...but here it goes: "If you find a job you love - you'd not have to work another day of your life again". Aka...it's not really a job if you love it that much. That's what I meant. People who have a lot of money do work - but usually with the things they dream of. How many dare start a cartoon company based on their dreams if they have their house at stake? Much easier to go with what you believe in, as long as you don't have to sacrifice your entire security. -------------------- If my soul was software, I could program myself and you.

I went with #6 'cause it's the one most achievable, under your control, and that you're too scared of to experiment with. The power of personality is a greater obstacle than the long odds of nature or chance.

Yeah, well with very rare exceptions - rare enough I've only heard rumors - six will get you ten.

Did I miss the hidden point of this thread, where it's a thinly veiled curiosity poll before you reveal some big new life-changing decision? You're sure not dating or winning a lottery, so, took the plunge starting your own company?

Hey speaking of scores. I had a school contact me saying "We have 5 projectors that don't work. do you want them for parts?"
"sure" So i go and pick them up. take them home. All of them work. Just need dusting out and one needs a new lamp........ Now to do with 5 projectors only a couple of years old. Damien -------------------- Wow you look quite normal for a geek.

it was a spoken understanding (notice how i avoided the use of "oral agreement") .
hey , it was decent money for the repair work . i also repaired the rental VCRs (vhs and beta) for those pron shops and a couple of the tape rental stores . i could care less about what tapes were being rented/watched ... it was about the benjamins . -------------------- "Know how to solve every problem that has been solved"
