I have built a rs232-rs485 to trnsfer data between 2 computers but i run into a problem that when i connected GND of comm port to negative of power supply I can not reciived data.However, when GND is removed and I can received data even the power supply is removed.Would you help me what is happen?Do i really need to tied GND of comm port to negative of power supply?
