Hi all. I'm new to Pspice and I have this problem. I designed a simple circuit of an amplifier ( http://imagebin.org/172561 ) and I have a floating nodes message in simulation (nodes 1,2 and 3 floating).
Below is the code: CASE2.1 * En generator RNE A 0 16.56K VES A 0 DC 0 HEN 1 3 VES 4K * In generator RNI B 0 16.56K VIS B 0 DC 0 FIN 2 3 VIS 12 * Input CIN 3 2 30P GR 2 3 2 3 2U * Output EA 4 0 3 2 750 .END |

The quick and dirty thing to do is to place a 100Meg resistor between each floating node and ground.
It's your circuit, you're responsible for understanding it but this will get you past the simulator error. Cheers. |

Evidently you didn't connect your amplifier to anything. Place it as a subcircuit within a larger circuit and the error will go away.
Shunt resistors (such as the 100Meg suggested) can be assigned automatically with the RSHUNT option. Typical values are 0 (default, none) or 1e12 to 1e8. Note that shunt resistors will apparently ground floating sections of circuitry, suppressing the error (floating nodes, singular matrix, etc.) without addressing the root cause. Not due to the difficulty of formulating or locating answers, but due to the human inability of asking the right questions; a skill that, were one to possess, would put them in the "answering" category.
