Hey guys,
I'm just getting into electronics, and I'm trying to get my mind around transistors. I often don't understand why the currents and voltages are what they are. I'm building the following circuit: ![]() Could someone briefly explain how to go about modeling such a circuit, because I searched the web for hours, but I can't find a good explanation, only really general overviews of how transistors work. Does anyone know a good web source where I can read more about modeling circuits mathematically ? Thanks a bunch in advance! Cheers! Abel. You might check out this page (my favorite on transistors). It explains basic calculations.

Ok, thanks a lot, it was quite helpful. However, is there any good websource really explaining (almost) step-by-step how to tackle the problem mathematically, so calculating required resistances in such a circuit from scratch... ?
Thanks again, and thanks in advance |
