I also use a low resolution monitor setting, because I have bad eyes & need the larger text.

You can also increase your OSs default font size under preferences.

And.

...while you are browsing - you can hold CTRL pressed down while scrolling UP/DOWN with your mouses scroll wheel, that will increase/decrease the font & image size (depending on the browser, firefox works best on this)

Yeah, but the lower resolution makes everything bigger onscreen, & as we all know size does matter. tongue.gif

yep ...
there is an add on for FF that allows you to selectively magnify portions of a page .
there is a function similar to this in windows .
