Answering questions is a tricky subject to practice. Not due to the difficulty of formulating or locating answers, but due to the human inability of asking the right questions; a skill that, were one to possess, would put them in the "answering" category.

Happy whatever-occasion-you-celebrate.....

It's -8C here (Scotland - and unusual for the time of year) and, for the first time in as many years as I can remember, it's going to be a WHITE Christmas for us.

A well seasoned greeting to all!! Happy Holidays!

@Dave: You are lucky...here on Vancouver Island, we are going to have another green christmas. The temperature is hovering around the freezing point these days. There is lots of snow on the surrounding mountains, though, so all is good.
At least I haven't had to mow the lawn this year. biggrin.gif

*raises hand* another curmudgeon here. tongue.gif

As far as I'm concerned, there's no difference between christmas and any other day, other than the curious fact that most people tend to become insufferably hypocritical, family-crazy and consumeristic. Oh yes, and the eating. That's good. laugh.gif

Merry Christmas would translate out to srecan bozic, but I don't think anyone says that. The normal Serbian thing to say is:

Христос се роди. (Hristos se rodi)

"Christ is born". Which I suppose is fitting. But it isn't Christmas for another two weeks anyway. wink.gif
