We had some database problems today and we had to restore a database with a 1 day old backup.

of course they do , as far as i know the vast majority of the internet uses mysql especially the publicly available forum software like ip boards  btw , the error messages that happen to pop up in error that say "database connection limit exceeded" are also an indicator of mysql , although they don't originate from the database server but from the php scripts i know i'm a smartass you don't need to tell me -------------------- NiteCo.com
