Anyone have any design ideas for how I could use up to 8 open drain outputs to in turn control/generate a 0-10vdc output? It seems I could output 256 different values with the 8 outputs but I'm fresh out of ideas for how I could setup a circuit to use those values and generate a 0-10v output.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. |

Pull-up resistors, a parallel DAC, followed by an op-amp to reach the right voltage.
Tim -------------------- Answering questions is a tricky subject to practice. Not due to the difficulty of formulating or locating answers, but due to the human inability of asking the right questions; a skill that, were one to possess, would put them in the "answering" category.
