I was wondering what goes into material selection when you are designing a PCB... For anyone really but especially for RF designs. I know a lot of the important factors: dielectric constant, loss tangent, thermal conductivity, etc... But what does your process look like of determining which material is best for the design?

Depends on the frequency of the RF and power levels.
Below a couple hundred MHz, ordinary FR4 is just fine. -------------------- -= Gregg =-
