Does anyone out there have an MFJ 9040 they'd consider selling?

I ordered one the 17th of January from MFG only to find, after two emails to them, that their transceiver line has been on the fritz since before Thanksgiving.

I'll be 83 on the 8th of next month and I'm not sure God will allow me live long enough for their line to get in production again. LOL

It's the only 40 meter CW xcvr I can find in its price range. (Unless someone knows differently???)

Have you ever considered visiting the Ham Fest markets that the radio amateurs hold on a yearly basis almost everywhere in the world?

Most of my radio amateur radios I have or had - I have gotten from those "back yard" style sales they have, it's a goldmine, you'll almost certainly find something you can use - for very little cash. I bought a Icom IC-728 Transceiver for roughly 25$ in need of a little love, but mostly working.

Ha! I'm afraid I have to admit to spending thousands at ham fests. (In my day. LOL)
I'll have to wait for that until Spring gets here so the snow will be melted.

On Edit: I've sent for a Tri-Band xcvr. (40, 30 and 15) Close this query.
