Mine is a nickname given to me by my highschool chemistry teacher. Had a brainfart and did the electron filing order for Hg instead of Mg on a test (80 places by hand is no fun...) and never heard the end of it.

I just landed here myself ....
Venom Ballistics is my company name, where I deal in precision formed odd alloy solder pieces to be pyrotechnicaly propelled.
not too long ago I started getting back into electronics, being a guitar player and there being a multitude of schematics related to effects splattered all over the web it was just a matter of time before I'd butn the dust of the soldering iron again

Hi. I'm new to the forum and reading all the noob stuff. Been on many forums before and noobs ask questions that have been answered many times over...

My nickname is Bud. When I grew up, friends called me BUDMAN. 231 is my registration number for my black belt in Tang Soo Do.

There you have it.

Just getting into PCBs. Have been working with amature electronics for quite some time. Mostly into low voltage lighting applications and high power LEDs. My designs have supassed wires and fold over leads so PCBs here I come !

You certainly came to the right place. Now we have someone to do all the "Manuel" labour around here. laugh.gif

Well, I drag race a Mercury Capri, and when I started using the handle "capriracer351" about 10 years ago for emails and various forums on the web, i was powering it with a 351 Cleveland.

Hence "capriracer351" thumbsup.gif

I'll most likely lurk around here and increase my knowledge, but may reply to a question, or maybe even ask a question once in a while when appropriate.

My name comes from a IT class where people started calling the techies, bearded ones, so my name has developed from there.

Believe me, I have tried to grow a respectable beard but, alas, it just doesn't happen. Stubble? Yes. Thick, manly hair? No. sad.gif

Its very hard surfing on the net and regestring in different forums, one for vw and the other for pipe smoking and model making, so i thought for a name that stands for a person that i admire (king cheop) is the phroh that built the great pyramid, i was fascinated by the way these people engineered and built this thing four thousand years ago.

ha, Tim (schematic) I just saw the picture of you a few posts up. It's funny how people never look anything like you would expect them too! laugh.gif

My name is Jeremy and my buddies in college called me Jman. The 31 came from my basketball jersey number.

This is me 20 years ago.

Still have my hair! Thank Goodness! Little more gray in it now though. dry.gif

May be toting a little more weight than I did back then, but when you're 6'7" you can hide that pretty well! thumbsup.gif
