I have been interested in electronics from the day my Mom took the back off of our RCA B/W TV to take the tubes out to be tested. I crawled over to take a look, it looked wonderful. Took analog electronics in High School , no digital yet. Early 30's went to college worked on an AA in digital electronics. now work in IT ( had to wait for desktop computers ) for the largest contractor to the US Government.

Tesla; Now there's a gal with guts! The big question now is, did she get them all back in the correct sockets? Or is that the reason you started in electronics? LOL
I started because a friend loaned me his Philmore Crystal set.
I was amazed!!! No batteries! No plug in the wall! No cost and I could hear stations from all over the USA! I paid him a dollar for it while I was getting 50 cents a week allowance! (Outch!)
That was in 1947 and a year later our town started WMGW AM. Needless to say, that's all I could hear from then on with the crystal set. (I had already moved on to home-brewing short wave sets, etc. and in 1962 became K3UIM.)
