I only want to know how to read and completely understand and comprehend circuit boards.

Specifically how this one runs a 3 phase bldc motor
An I do have an understanding of how a bldc motor works but I just don't know how a circuit board controls it.ESC

Or is this simply too much to ask and is impossible?
Like where is the current flowing an why
stop by step. Starting with the negative terminal of the battery and what happens from there? How is it creating 3 phase.

And its also the sensorless type of motor.

Ed: holy huge pic, batman!

I do know how semiconductors work (diodes) basically it can either stop current flow or let it go. Depending on its position. I don't know if it has any other functions bit it probably does. biggrin.gif

Download the DATASHEET for the main device(s) and start there.

Such datasheets reveal all there is to know about what they do and how they do it.

A popular site for obtaining them is at http://www.alldatasheet.com

Here's the link for the main device in your schematic, the MC33035

http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf...MI/MC33035.html

as you can see it is a dedicated 3-phase brushless motor controller and pages 9-onwards explain its inner workings.
