Hi guys I've built a simple inverter with two transistors and resistors. This worked ok. I fed this to a br and cap to a 5v regulator.
The problem is that from the regulator is not giving me 5v only but sometimes goes up to 20v.
Why is this? Maybe I need to add more caps?
Thanks.

Do you have a circuit diagram?
