Hello,

Do you know the current consumption of the SAM3N00B microcontroller from Atmel?

SAM3N00B series datasheet.
http://www.atmel.com/Images/doc11011.pdf

We have Vcc = 3.3V and we are using the internal 1MHz oscillator.

We are using the ADC and the DAC,
..also using one PWM output.

It's gonna change with the state that the uC is in,and what it's doing..along with clock speed, etc.

Measure it,probably the easiest way to get an accurate idea.

We use a 10R resister on the GND line, with the scope across it, and each 10 mV = 1 mA..

Using a Digital Recording Scope, we map out current consumption for the different UC 'tasks'.

Once we have a full map for each 'task' we can calculate total consumption over a set period (knowing how often each task occurs) and thus estimate battery life....

What i know about Electronics is dangerous...
Why cant i use a 7812 on the supply line to get my +12V ??? ;)
