Hi, Im new member and hope Im posting on right section, however I want to make an audio amplifier using LM386 Audio Amplifier, and I found a video on youtube

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztmZhGL6sVc

This is LM386 circuit diagram

http://s22.postimg.org/3va21rjxt/LM386.jpg

I want to know more details about these condensators & resistors, when I wanted to buy on local shop, he said to me I need to know about voltage on every resistor and condensators !
So can anybody tell me now how to know what voltage are these, note that this uses power from two batteries 9V !

edit : big link picture make

condensator = capacitor
(condensator is not a real term)

the voltage rating of the resistors is not critical ... it is the "dissipation or "watt" rating that is in question ... 1/8 or 1/4 watt resistors should be ok .

the voltage rating of the capacitors should be 25 volts for the electrolytics and 25 volts (or more) for the other caps (poly and/or ceramic types) .

that circuit is lacking a few components/items that will make it work smoother .
try to find a better circuit .

First of all thanks for your answer !

Well, Im totally noob on circuit boards and other stuff, capacitors etc

I see on this circuit board diagram signs like C1, C2, C3, C4 and R1 R2
Can you tell me for each one, what capacitor to buy, voltage and Farad, in this circuit board there are info's about Farad but there's no info about voltages !

I dont know, I found this circuit board, and found other circuit boards for Audio Amplifier, but I want to use this chip LM386, as i found on local shop, can you be more specific, what this board is missing, does it affect sound quality or anything else ?
Thanks in advance !

We even call it 'Kondensator' here in the north. thumbsup.gif

If you go here LM386, and download the datasheet, you will find a number of sample applications for this chip.

CWB really did answer your questions in his post.

Hi,
Although capacitor's voltage values don't have much significance in this circuit, one can directly buy with capacitance values but here is some circuits in which breadboard images (with videos) is there, so we can get some idea about components.
LM386 audio amplifier 1
LM386 audio amplifier 2
I was also confused about microphone, then watched some images.

We old fogies used to call capacitors "condensers" in the 40's. (Still do, to myself. LOL)

And measured frequency in cps!
