well i'm not a big mechanic to be honest.
not when it comes to "paperwork" that is.
anyways the thing is i could use a bit help from you guys,
i can not for the living god find a full example of a differential band brake calculation.
i did find this, but for my life i can not figure out how to obtain real dimensions.
the goal would be to design a winch, and for that i need thiskind of differential brake.
so when the winch is spooling up the wire it allows no backwards rolling.
but when i need to i can disengage the brakes.
it has equtations, but i can't work out how to start getting actual dimensions.
