Thanks for the feedback guys wink.gif

@ srikanthsamaga, The PICKit 2 is sold by Microchip, and all the relevant info such as supported devices (pretty much all PIC's) and the such can be found on the site too

I just downloaded the video .
let me just say that. This is what I should have had when I was learning about this stuff instead of diving into the 43rd page of embedded programming, with no preface.

You did a great job by providing this video.
It will help a lot of people, I believe.

Hmm, it seems as if the video has been removed? Or is it just my computer acting up on me? smile.gif Would it be possible maybe to re-upload it? Thanks!

I'll upload it to a new server - box.net was getting a little to $$

Uploading now, it will take a little while on this connection though. When its complete I'll update the link wink.gif

Well that didn't turn out well - my local copy is MIA

If anyone has the full video saved somewhere, could you email it to admin[at]digital-diy[dot]com

Cheers,
Graham

If anyone can find the video, perhaps we'd be well served if it was cut into 10-minutes segments and uploaded to YouTube. Then there are no bandwidth costs. cool.gif

I've got it Abdulla, although thanks for offering wink.gif

I'm splitting the video, and once that's done it will find its way onto youtube (along with an updated link here!)

Did anyone else notice that he loads the wrong HEX file? wink.gif

During HEX import, you selected "LCD Example.hex" instead of "LED Example.hex"

Still.. Great tutorial!
