Hello once again.

I am starting to use the Mentor Graphics Pads (Logic and Layout) for PCB drawing.
And I have some questions that some of you could answer.

The first question is that I wish to use a Folder to put my Libraries.
So I created a folder in C:\MentorGraphics\9.4PADS\SDD_HOME\Libraries\ called user\ and I inserted the files of the libraries in that folder.

But the selection part menu does not show this library.

Is there a way to do this? Or I have to put it in the library folder without having a new folder?

The other question is about library sharing on the internal network? Is there a way to do this? I wish to share with my friends the libraries that every one makes. Does any one know how to do this?

What proboble do you refer to? the share or the folder with user libs??

I was thinking on using dropbox for the shared libraries.

1. Start PADs.
2. go to File/Library.
3. Push the "Manage Lib List" button.
4. The "Library List" dialog allows you to add and remove libraries.

Normally one person is the librarian just to minimize mistakes and make sure the parts and decals are consistent.

Yes I know that, but how can I make them accessible by every one? Is there a wqay to put them on a server or something similar?
